Learning to Cook Everyday!

 In an attempt to be healthier, I am trying to learn more about food.  Sure, exercise is great, but it always starts with diet.  So, since I have found myself with some more free time and an assistant (my dad) in the kitchen, I have decided to learn more about food.  There are several different aspects of food that I want to learn about: the scientific/health aspect of foods, the cultural and historical significance of foods, and how to create sustainable meal planning habits so that cooking every day is more manageable.  As always, while this is an active project, I likely won't be uploading too often, so don't expect this to turn into a food blog.  Though, I do already have a few posts I need to catch up on.  Either way, come learn with me!
