New Hobbies!

Technically, they aren't new hobbies.  They've just been retired for a while...

After a careful and lengthy attempt to curate my wardrobe, I remembered that I knew how to sew.  So, the attempt to create my own garments begins.  In addition to breaking out the $20 Aldi sewing machine my dad bought me for my first apartment, I decided to pick up crocheting.  I learned how to use a sewing machine and crochet as a child, so I already had the basic skills.  Thus, my first step was to YouTube a bunch of videos on making your own patterns.  After some research, the general consensus is that you just need to jump in there and get some experience.  So, expect to see upcoming posts about the process I used to make some products and the lessons I learned.  I'll also make sure to link any templates, videos, or posts I found helpful during the process.
